Update 24th March 2020:

Following the latest advice all offices are now closed for face to face client consultations and remain open only for essential activities such as the processing of legal documentation.

Meetings will continue as video consultations wherever possible.  We have software in place that enables you to join a video meeting from your phone or from your PC, as long as you have internet access.

Wherever possible (and in practice the vast majority of) our 40+ team members across the Less Is More Property Business Group as well as the One Consultancy Group will continue to work from home until further notice. Please note that in order to accommodate child care requirements a number of the team will be working non-standard hours, so you may receive written responses from us at irregular hours. Of course the main contact number will continue to be covered between at least 9am and 5pm daily.

In summary, we remain very much open for business and are here to advise you throughout this challenging time. Please do email in any questions you have or call client services on 0203 735 2940.

Details of our new private Facebook group for the LT4L Client Community will also be communicated to you by email shortly. This is expected to go live by the end of this week.

Best health and well wishes to all.

20th March 2020:

Firstly, we hope you and your families are well and safe in what is becoming an increasingly challenging time for all.

Whilst we are doing everything possible to ensure that it is predominantly business as usual here, we wanted to keep you in the loop with the steps we are taking and to inform you of some changes that will come into effect from Monday 23rd March.

As a business we are committed to doing everything we can to keep our team safe and also support the wider communities within which we work and live. In response to the latest Government advice, we have thus taken the decision that our London Offices are now closed, however our Horsham, Scunthorpe, and all The Bailey Group offices remain open with appropriate precautions in place.

Please note that if you have any meetings in the diary for the London offices then we will be in touch separately to make alternative arrangements.

Update: As of 24th March all face to face consultations have been cancelled until further notice and will be replaced where possible with video consultations.

Homeworking & Contacting Us – No change to contact details

To help combat the outbreak and ensure the safety of our team and others visiting our offices for essential reasons; the vast majority of our 40+ team members across the Less Is More Property Business Group and One Consultancy Group are now working from home, with offices remaining open for essential operations only.

We are very fortunate in that the business already has the technology in place to support working from multiple locations – including home working, and all contact details for the business and the team will remain the same.

We continue to be here to support you build run and grow professional property businesses, and client meetings and business planning consultations can still be booked, to be carried out via online video call.

The Scunthorpe office also remains open for video meetings regarding conveyancing and other legal matters.

The LT4L Client Accounts Team @ The Bailey Group have also moved their operation to the Billingham office, although there is no change to the team individuals who are still contactable on the same details as before.

Event Cancellations

As you know we have recently expanded our program of client only events following client feedback and now offer 4 such meetings each year in addition to our regular networking events for clients and potential clients.

Regrettably, we have had to cancel our April 8th networking event and are expecting to cancel our May events including our next client-only event.

We hope that things may be back to normal in time for our Annual Client Community BBQ on August 28th.

New Facebook Group & Online Updates

Following our event cancellations and given that during the current climate staying in touch as a community is going to be more important than ever; we are bringing forwards our implementation of an online group (planned following client feedback), and will be establishing a private Facebook group in the next few days.

We know that Facebook might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but given the current lack of a more readily available and widely used alternative for a private group, we have decided to move forwards with getting this set up in order to help our clients stay in touch with each other on points that matter to them.

More information on this will be released early next week, along with an update in response to a number of questions we have received specifically regarding the Coronavirus, latest government policy, and what this could mean for the landlord sector.

We will also be keeping our website updated with any further updates and email you if there is anything of further specific note. You can keep up to date with this here:

Business as Usual

Other than the temporary closing of our London Offices and cancellation of London events, we continue to be in a position to provide all of our usual services to you, such as business planning and mortgage reviews. We hope that you will take the opportunity also to join us online in the new Facebook group and attend some of our online events which will be announced in the coming weeks.

If you need us, please do continue to contact us, and you will still be able to reach us using the usual contact details.

Wishing you and yours health and happiness in this trying time.
